ALL EMAILED AND PAPER APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNLESS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE.


CITIZEN PORTAL: HOW TO

Click the orange text above - This will bring you to the online portal.

APPLY FOR PERMITS – When you submit your application, note that the next screen will give you an Application/Permit number.

BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION - Scroll to the Building Permit Application section and click on Building Permit.

LAND FILL AND LAND CLEARING APPLICATION – Scroll down to Land Use Application and select the type of permit you are applying for.

IMPORTANT: If you do not see your contractor’s name, please be sure that the Town of Malabar has all up to date information (BTR, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Contractor License). IF THIS INFORMATION IS NOT UP TO DATE, YOU CANNOT RECEIVE A PERMIT.

SEARCH FOR YOUR PERMIT – Click on the Magnifying Glass.

Search for your Application/Permit number. If you do not know this number, you can use the drop-down menu and select Address to find your Application/Permit (this will also give you the Application/Permit number).

PERMIT INFORMATION AND FEES – Once you find your permit, click on “View”.

This will show you all the information we have regarding your permit: status, description, inspection request, scheduled inspections, inspection results, notes, file uploads and fees.

You can pay your fees on this page as well by using a credit/debit card. Just click on “Submit Payment” and input your information.

REQUEST INSPECTIONS - Once you search for your permit you can see “Request Inspection”.

INSPECTIONS ARE STRICTLY HELD ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS.

Choose the proper inspection you need and fill out the required information. If the inspection you need is not there, choose the closest type of inspection and explain what you want in the description.

When it asks you for an access code, click below the text box to have it sent to the email we have on file. If you don’t receive an access code, email LWILSON@TOWNOFMALABAR.ORG, mention the email you are expecting the access code to be sent to and we will investigate the issue.

UPLOAD FILES – Any files that need to be submitted, you can upload them by searching for your permit and clicking “View” and scroll to the bottom of the page.

By clicking “Choose Files” at the bottom of the page, you can submit documents.
