Malabar Road Closure April 14-15

Please be advised of upcoming traffic impacts in your area. Lane closures and a short nighttime detour of Malabar Road, between Corey Road and Weber Road, will be necessary to complete paving and drainage work activities. 

Monday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 6, there will be right and left lane closures on Malabar Road in both eastbound and westbound directions from 8 p.m. -6:30 a.m. for paving operations.

There will be signage and a team member with a flag to help traffic around the closure.

Wednesday, April 7 and Thursday, April 8 Malabar Road will be detoured at Corey Road. The detour will be active from 8 p.m.-6:30 a.m. Malabar Road will re-open each morning at 6:30 a.m.

The detour route is as follows:

Westbound Malabar Road traffic will be directed to turn south on Corey Road where they will turn west on Hall Road and then travel north on Eva Lane back to Malabar Road.  

Eastbound Malabar Road traffic will be directed to turn south on Eva Lane where they will turn east on Hall Road and then travel north on Corey Road back to Malabar Road.

Message boards and signage will be in place to help traffic through the detour. Please slow down and always use caution when traveling through a construction site.

In approximately three weeks, it will be necessary to close this area again for final drainage work.
