PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Custom Built Marine Construction, Inc. will be starting the shoreline restoration project on April 1, 2024 with an estimated completed date of September 1, 2024.  Restoration of the shoreline in four specific areas of the Rocky Point Road is necessary to prevent more erosion in these four locations of compromised shoreline and additional roadway collapse and unsafe conditions for vehicular traffic. The single areas of restoration of the shoreline are imperative to separately restore the collapsed section of roadway. Property owners with docks located in these four site areas have been notified that removal of their docks or privately owned items, structures, improvements in the right-of-way land area.  These items will be removed by the contractor and will not be restored.  Affected property owners have the opportunity to remove prior to commencement at their own discretion or expense. The roadway repair is not included in this scope of services. The Town will utilize the services of a paving contractor upon completion of the shoreline restoration project to restore the collapsed lane. The Town intends to repair, repave, and restripe the roadway (Rocky Point Rd) in its entirety.
